Coral Ridge Mall

About

Coral Ridge Mall stands as eastern Iowa's largest shopping and entertainment complex, drawing visitors from Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, and communities throughout the region. Located just off Interstate 80 in Coralville, the mall offers far more than a typical shopping experience.

With over 120 stores and restaurants, there's something for every taste and budget. Major anchor stores sit alongside local favorites and national brands. The 1,000-seat food court provides plenty of dining options, from quick bites to sit-down meals, making it easy to refuel during a full day of exploring.

What truly sets Coral Ridge Mall apart is its entertainment offerings. The NHL-regulation-size ice arena hosts public skating sessions, hockey games, and special events throughout the year. Kids and adults alike enjoy the beautifully crafted reproduction antique carousel, a centerpiece that adds old-fashioned charm to the modern space. A 10-screen movie theatre rounds out the entertainment options.

Families with young children will want to plan extra time for the Iowa Children's Museum, housed right inside the mall. This interactive museum offers hands-on exhibits designed to spark curiosity and creativity. There's also a dedicated children's play area in the mall itself for younger visitors who need to burn off some energy.

Planning your visit is straightforward. The mall sits conveniently near I-80, making it accessible from across eastern Iowa. Ample parking surrounds the building, and the central location in Coralville means hotels, restaurants, and other attractions are just minutes away. Whether you're coming for a quick shopping trip or making a full day of it, Coral Ridge Mall delivers a comfortable, climate-controlled environment that works in every season. Winter visitors especially appreciate having so much to do under one roof when Iowa weather turns cold.

The mall regularly hosts community events, seasonal activities, and promotions, so it's worth checking their website or social media before your visit to see what's happening.
