WinStar World Casino and Resort

About

WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma sits just north of the Texas border and holds the title of the world's largest casino. Operated by the Chickasaw Nation, this sprawling entertainment complex draws millions of visitors each year with its incredible scale and variety of experiences.

The gaming floor is truly staggering, featuring more than 10,500 electronic games spread across themed sections inspired by cities like Paris, Beijing, Rome, and London. Nearly 100 table games, a 55-table poker room, and a bingo hall round out the options for those feeling lucky. Whether you're a seasoned player or just want to try your hand at something new, the sheer variety means there's always something to explore.

Beyond the casino, WinStar delivers a full resort experience. The property includes multiple hotels, a golf course, a pool complex, and a 3,500-seat theater that hosts major concerts and comedy shows throughout the year. Shopping and spa services are also available on-site, making it easy to fill an entire weekend without ever leaving the property.

Dining options span from casual buffets to upscale steakhouses. You'll find more than a dozen restaurants and eateries across the resort, covering everything from Italian and Asian cuisine to classic American comfort food. Many are open late to accommodate the casino's around-the-clock energy.

Getting there is straightforward. WinStar sits right off Interstate 35, about an hour north of Dallas-Fort Worth and roughly 90 minutes south of Oklahoma City. Free parking is plentiful, and the resort offers shuttle services from select locations. It's an easy trip for a day visit or a longer getaway.

Accessibility

WinStar World Casino and Resort offers handicapped accessible accommodations in its hotel properties. These rooms are designed to support guests with mobility needs, and the resort provides dry cleaning and other convenience services to enhance every stay.

Complimentary push wheelchairs are available for guests who need them while moving through the expansive gaming floors and resort areas. For those who prefer a motorized option, third-party wheelchair rental services can deliver equipment directly to the resort. Booking a rental in advance online is recommended to ensure availability during your visit.

The casino floors and common areas are generally on a single level with wide pathways between gaming sections, which helps with wheelchair and mobility device access. The resort's large scale means distances between areas can be significant, so planning your route or asking staff for directions to specific venues can save time and energy.

Accessible parking is available in the resort's lots near building entrances. The hotel properties, restaurants, and entertainment venues are connected within the complex, reducing the need to move between separate buildings for most activities.

For specific questions about accessible seating in the concert venue, elevator access, or other accommodation needs, contact WinStar directly at (580) 276-4229 or (800) 622-6317. Staff can provide current details on available services and help coordinate any special arrangements for your visit.
