About

Silver Dollar City is a one-of-a-kind theme park nestled in the Ozark Mountains just outside Branson, Missouri. Built around the entrance to Marvel Cave, the park recreates an 1880s frontier town with over 40 rides and attractions, world-class craftspeople demonstrating traditional trades, and live entertainment that runs throughout the day.

The park is famous for its award-winning roller coasters, including Outlaw Run and Time Traveler, but there's so much more to experience. You'll find glass blowers, blacksmiths, candle makers, and woodcarvers practicing their crafts in charming workshops scattered across the park. Kids love the interactive play areas, and families of all ages enjoy the water rides during warmer months.

Seasonal festivals are a huge draw. The park hosts events like the Festival of Wonder in spring, the Star-Spangled Summer celebration, the National Crafts & Cowboy Festival in fall, and the spectacular An Old Time Christmas, when millions of lights transform the park into a holiday wonderland. Each festival brings unique shows, food, and activities.

Dining options range from classic theme park fare to regional specialties. Don't miss the skillet meals at Aunt Polly's or the fresh-made cinnamon bread at Brown's Candy Factory. Several restaurants offer meals that reflect the Ozarks heritage, and dietary accommodations are available at many locations.

Silver Dollar City sits on hilly terrain, so comfortable shoes are a must. The park opens seasonally from mid-March through late December, and tickets can be purchased online or at the gate. Branson offers plenty of nearby hotels, making it easy to plan a multi-day visit to explore everything the park has to offer.

Accessibility

Silver Dollar City is committed to accessibility and provides a range of services for guests with disabilities. Standard wheelchairs and ECVs (electric convenience vehicles) are available for rental, and ECVs can be reserved in advance online or by calling 417-336-7100. The park is recognized as ADA fully compliant.

The park offers downloadable accessibility guides covering physical, visual, hearing, cognitive, and dietary accommodations. These guides provide detailed information about each ride and attraction, helping guests plan their visit in advance. Because the park is built on Ozark hillside terrain, some areas involve steep grades, so an ECV or wheelchair can make a big difference for comfort.

Trained service animals, as currently defined under the ADA, are welcome throughout the park. Staff members are available to assist guests with questions about ride accessibility requirements and to help with any special needs during your visit.

For guests with dietary restrictions, the park provides information about allergen-friendly and specialty food options at its restaurants. Companion restrooms and accessible facilities are located throughout the grounds.

For the most current details on specific ride accommodations, sensory supports, or any other accessibility questions, contact Silver Dollar City directly at 800-831-4386 or visit their accessibility page on the official website before your trip.
