Accessibility

Sawgrass Mills provides comprehensive accessibility features to ensure all visitors can enjoy their shopping experience. The entire venue offers wheelchair accessibility throughout its facilities, making it easy for mobility device users to access stores, dining areas, and restrooms.

Complimentary wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Simon Guest Services booth located in Avenue 3 near Burlington Coat Factory. Please note that these are manual wheelchairs, not electric models, so visitors needing powered mobility devices should plan to bring their own or arrange rentals through external providers.

The shopping center provides ample handicapped parking spaces conveniently located near entrances to minimize walking distances. Service animals are welcome throughout the facility, and staff are trained to accommodate visitors with various accessibility needs.

The venue's large scale and indoor climate-controlled environment make it comfortable for extended visits, while wide walkways and accessible restroom facilities ensure mobility throughout the complex. For visitors who may need additional mobility support, several local companies offer wheelchair and scooter rentals with delivery services to the Fort Lauderdale area.
