About

Rivers Casino Des Plaines brings big-time gaming and entertainment to the Chicago suburbs. Located just minutes from O'Hare International Airport at 3000 S. River Road, this sprawling casino floor features over 1,000 slot machines, table games ranging from blackjack to poker, and a dedicated BetRivers Sportsbook where you can catch every game on massive screens.

But Rivers Casino is more than just gaming. The venue hosts live entertainment acts throughout the year, from comedy nights to musical performances. It's a full evening out, whether you're hitting the tables or simply soaking in the energy of one of the busiest casinos in Illinois.

Dining options run the full spectrum. You'll find everything from quick bites to sit-down restaurants without ever leaving the building. The variety means you can grab a burger between hands of poker or settle in for a proper meal before heading to the gaming floor.

The casino typically operates from 8:00 AM to late evening, though hours can shift around holidays and special events. It's worth checking their website or calling ahead if you're planning a visit on a holiday like Veterans Day.

Getting there is straightforward. The casino sits right off the Tri-State Tollway (I-294), and free parking is available on-site. If you're coming from downtown Chicago, the drive takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Some visitors combine a casino trip with nearby shopping at Fashion Outlets of Chicago, which is just down the road.

Rivers Casino draws a wide crowd. You'll see groups of friends, couples on date nights, and solo visitors who enjoy the atmosphere. The floor layout is open and easy to move through, and staff members are generally noted for being helpful and friendly.

Whether you're a seasoned gambler or just looking for a fun night out near Chicago, Rivers Casino delivers a lively experience with plenty of options to keep you entertained.
