New Hampshire Motor Speedway

About

New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon is the heart of motorsports in New England. This 1.058-mile oval track hosts major NASCAR events that draw fans from across the Northeast, offering an electrifying race-day atmosphere unlike anything else in the region.

The speedway's main oval isn't the only attraction. The facility also includes a road course and a flat track, hosting a variety of racing events throughout the season. From the roar of stock cars to motorcycle events, there's something for every motorsports enthusiast.

Race weekends are full-day experiences. The FanZone area gives visitors a chance to get closer to the action, with driver appearances, merchandise vendors, and interactive displays. Grandstand seating wraps around the oval, and personal cushions are welcome for added comfort during long race days. Food and beverage options are spread throughout the facility.

Beyond the racing season, the speedway hosts community events that make it a year-round destination. The annual Gift of Lights transforms the venue into a holiday light display, with proceeds supporting Speedway Children's Charities and the Loudon Food Pantry. It's a family-friendly tradition that showcases the track's commitment to its community.

Getting there is straightforward. The speedway sits just off Interstate 93, about 70 miles north of Boston and 15 miles north of Concord, New Hampshire's capital. Visitors traveling by air can fly into Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, roughly 25 miles south. On race days, expect heavier traffic, so arriving early is a smart move.

Whether you're a lifelong NASCAR fan or attending your first race, the energy of a packed grandstand as cars thunder past at 140 mph is something you won't forget. The speedway combines world-class racing with a welcoming, community-driven spirit that keeps fans coming back season after season.
